answer text <p>Details of payments made under the Sponsor Capacity Fund (over £25,000) are published online at:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/dfe-department-and-executive-agency-spend-over-25-000" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/dfe-department-and-executive-agency-spend-over-25-000</a></p><p> </p><p>A list of all open academies and their sponsors, alongside equivalent details for approved projects not yet open, is published online at:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/open-academies-and-academy-projects-in-development" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/open-academies-and-academy-projects-in-development</a></p><p> </p><p>Academy sponsors who receive the Sponsor Capacity Fund are required to sign a Grant Funding Agreement, agreeing to adhere to the terms and conditions of the grant. In addition, they are required to submit an Annual Certification of Expenditure, signed by their auditors, and a final report detailing what has been achieved through use of the grant. If they fail to comply with any of the conditions of grant, or are deemed to be in breach of it, they may be required to return all or part of the grant to the Department.</p><p> </p>

answer text <p>There is one school judged to require special measures in Copeland. There are 12 schools in special measures in Cumbria.</p><p> </p><p>Of these 12 schools, nine have received HMI monitoring visits where they have been judged to be either making reasonable progress or their plans are fit for purpose. Two schools are awaiting monitoring visits.</p><p> </p><p>The Interim Executive Board of Walney School has voted to become an academy on 1 September 2014, sponsored by Queen Katherine Academy Trust. The school was granted an Academy Order in April 2014.</p><p> </p> more like this
