answer text <p>The Home Office publishes data on Indefinite Leave to Remain (Settlement) grants in the ‘<a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/immigration-statistics-quarterly-release" target="_blank">Immigration System Statistics Quarterly Release</a>’. Data covering the period 2011 onwards are published in table se_06 of the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/immigration-system-statistics-data-tables#settlement" target="_blank">Settlement summary tables</a>. Earlier data are available in table se_06 at <a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1033958/settlement-sep-2021-tables.ods" target="_blank">Settlement data tables.</a> (Downloads new file).</p><p>The Home Office does not produce information on the UK population. answer text <p>No specific assessment has been made. The vast majority of care workers are employed by private sector providers which set the terms and conditions independently of central Government. Local authorities work with care providers to determine fee rates, which should take account of employment costs based on local market conditions. We continue to work with the local government sector to understand the impact of emerging challenges on local authorities, such as rising fuel costs.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The previous Government announced its intention to bring forward legislation to ban the use of tyres aged 10 years and over on HGVs, heavy trailers, buses, coaches and minibuses in February 2019. A statutory consultation on legislative proposals, which concluded on 1 September 2019, received more than 1100 responses reflecting a wide variety of views.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is committed to improving road safety. The Department for Transport is analysing the consultation responses and finalising the regulatory impact assessment. We expect to publish the conclusions of the consultation this Spring.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Angel CoFund started in 2011 and makes equity investments alongside syndicates of business angels (high net worth individuals) who invest in early-stage companies. It seeks to back promising UK businesses and help develop the important business angel investment market. The Government, working through the British Business Bank, has committed £70m to the Angel CoFund, and plans to provide a further £30m in due course.</p> more like this
