The release of this funding was dependant on the Accountable Body, North Lincolnshire Council, verifying that the site had reached agreed milestones. The Accountable Body confirmed that all conditions for the grant had been met. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/11/2018 answer text <p>Lord Bates’ statement on 16 October to the House of Lords expressed the UK’s increasing concern regarding the estimated 50,000 people currently stranded at the Rukban camp. A recent UN mission revealed rapid deterioration in the humanitarian situation, with access to those at the Rukban Berm extremely constrained. To date, the UN has not been granted sustained access by the Assad regime.</p><p> </p><p>The UK urges all parties to ensure unconditional and sustained humanitarian access that will enable regular aid deliveries to take place. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/10/2018 answer text <p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has commissioned research into cyber security roles in the UK Labour Market, which includes private organisations, charities and public sector organisations of a variety of sizes and sectors.</p><p> </p><p>The research is focused on identifying what are cyber security skills, who works in cyber security roles (size of cyber security teams, level of seniority, skills set of the individuals), what are the current skills available and what are the current skills gaps in the market.</p><p> </p><p>Once complete, we expect to publish this research and its recommendations which will then feed into our strategic development of cyber security skills interventions going forward. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/09/2018 answer text <p>The Government recognises that widespread free access to cash remains extremely important to the day-to-day lives of many consumers and businesses in the UK. Government has been engaging and will continue to engage with the regulators and industry, including LINK, to ensure that it is maintained.</p><p> </p><p>To ensure the provision of ATMs in rural, isolated or vulnerable areas, LINK announced it will enhance its financial inclusion plan to include in the programme all ATMs that are a kilometer or further from the next other free-to-use ATM. Around 80% of the ATM network is free-to-use and 97% of all ATM transactions are conducted on free-to-use ATMs.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has made no formal assessment of the effects of banning ATM charges, but is closely monitoring developments within the UK’s ATM network, as is the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR). The Government established the PSR in 2015 with a statutory objective to ensure that the UK’s payment systems work in the interests of their users.</p><p> </p><p>The PSR have set out three requirements of LINK: that LINK must maintain the current geographical spread of ATMs; that any changes made to ATM interchange fees must be incremental to allow LINK to monitor the impact and take action if the impact is not as expected; and for a greater focus on LINK’s financial inclusion programme, to continue to fill gaps in the network.</p><p> </p><p>The PSR has committed to using its powers to act should LINK behave in a way that conflicts with its statutory objectives and recently announced it would direct LINK to fully develop its policies for meeting its commitments.</p> answering member constituency Salisbury answering member printed John Glen question first answered 13/09/2018 14:48:58 answering member 4051 label Biography information for John Glen
