This means that the Secretary of State cannot designate services on that network for franchising. answer text <p>The priority of the UK Government is to tackle the root cause of climate change by reducing emissions of greenhouse gases from human activities and adapting to those impacts that are unavoidable. We are aware of independent existing efforts to increase cooperation and governance of research into solar radiation management technologies, such as the Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative and the ‘Oxford Principles’ for the governance of geoengineering. answer text <p>As a non-Ministerial Government Department responsible for food safety and authenticity, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has been preparing extensively for the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union. This includes:</p><p> </p><p>- ensuring EU regulations will operate correctly when they become UK law;</p><p>- strengthening its risk analysis process;</p><p>- developing a clear plan for how risk will be managed; and</p><p>- finalising the systems and technology that will support how food businesses are regulated in the future.</p><p> </p><p>Leaving the EU does not change the FSA’s top priority which is to ensure that food remains safe and what it says it is.</p><p> </p> more like this
