answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/09/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>11 convictions were secured in 2013/14 and 16 prosecutions were completed in 2013/14 (including those with convictions).</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) investigates and, where appropriate, prosecutes cases of serious or complex fraud (including cases of domestic or overseas bribery and corruption) which, in the opinion of the Director of the SFO, call for the multi-disciplinary approach and legislative powers available to the SFO. Since April 2012, the SFO’s caseload has been recalibrated so that it is taking on fewer and more complex cases, as envisaged by the Roskill model.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The SFO’s Intelligence Unit will assess all matters referred to the SFO whether by the public, the police or other agencies or organisations and refer those considered suitable for acceptance to a Case Evaluation Board before submission to the Director for his decision to open a criminal investigation under the Criminal Justice Act 1987.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>SFO investigations are complex, and this can sometimes lead to investigations merging or splitting into different parts. An investigation may be conducted by either the civil or Service Police.</p><p> </p><p>The tables below show the number of alleged cases of rape and sexual assault (including assault by penetration) that were investigated by each branch of the Service police in each year from 2009 to 2013, the number referred to the Service Prosecuting Authority (SPA) and the result of those referrals. The SPA can receive formal referrals only from either Service Police or the Commanding Officer.</p><p>It should be noted that the SPA may receive referrals in one year which relate to allegations and investigations made in previous years and that such cases may be directed, disposed and/or tried in following years. battery, assault or grievous bodily harm. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/07/2014 answer text <p>Offenders' needs are assessed using OASys and the outcome informs the sentence plan, which helps to determine the appropriate establishment (within the correct security category).</p><p> </p><p>All prisoners who have been victims of domestic violence, rape, or abuse have access, as required, to appropriate support throughout custody as part of the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) core rehabilitative offer. These services are trauma-focused and are designed to respond to abuse where it is relevant to individuals.</p><p> </p><p>There are also specialist personality disorder services at HMP Whitemoor and HMP Frankland (since 2005/06), and new treatment services opening at HMPs Garth and Swaleside this financial year 2014-15. Out of these locations, Ofcom only received applications for five: Reading, Basingstoke, Guildford, Salisbury and Maidstone. Accordingly the UK Government contributes 78.43% to the total CWGC funding. <br><br>Financial records are retained for seven years. Information held by the Ministry of Defence indicates that over the last seven financial years the UK Government has made the following payments to CWGC for the maintenance of graves of those who died during the First and Second World Wars. The estimated capital costs for facilitating Typhoon Force-related operations, including the Northern Quick Reaction Alert facility, at RAF Lossiemouth is anticipated to be some £87 million.<br><br>The Basing Review, which was announced in July 2011, assessed what was best for Defence as a whole.
