answer text <p>I thank the Rt Honourable Lady for her tireless efforts on this matter.</p><p> </p><p>Health is devolved in Wales, however, the UK Government published its ‘Best Start for Life’ Vision in March 2021, which includes the intention to share best practice with the Welsh Government. Officials in the Department of Health and Social Care will continue to share best practice with Welsh Government officials to ensure every baby gets the best start in life.</p> more like this

answer text <p>I have not had discussions with Welsh Government Ministers about their Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan.</p><p> </p><p>The UK Government is fully committed to building a fairer Britain and taking the action needed to address negative disparities wherever they exist. That is why in March 2022 the UK Government published its response to the report by the independent Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities. ‘Inclusive Britain’ sets out a ground-breaking action plan to tackle negative disparities, promote unity, and build a fairer Britain for all.</p><p> </p><p>When I was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, I was also delighted to visit the Butetown community centre in Cardiff last year and saw first-hand the great work they are doing with the funding received from the Windrush Community Fund.</p> more like this

answer text <p>I have regular discussions with my Cabinet colleagues on a range of transport matters relating to Wales, including HS2.</p><p>The Department for Transport expects to re-phase construction of Phase 2a (West Midlands to Crewe) by two years. We aim to deliver high-speed services to Crewe, providing connections with the North Wales Coast Line as soon as possible after accounting for the delay in construction.</p><p>The Government will continue to provide updated economic assessments of HS2 at key decision points for the programme, as has been done to date. Updated analysis will consider any impacts caused by inflationary and cost pressures.</p> more like this
