This includes an indicator on the percentage of patients with schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder and other psychoses who have a comprehensive care plan documented in their records, in the preceding 12 months.

NHS England and NHS Improvement announced in June 2021 that an extra £40 million has been allocated to address the impact of COVID-19 on children and young people’s mental health and enhance services across the country. Funding of £79 million has already been made available to support children and young people’s mental health in the community, including via increased access to crisis and eating disorder services and new mental health support teams.
