answer text <p>Since 28 September people who test positive for COVID-19 or are contacted by NHS Test and Trace and told to self-isolate must do so by law. The legal duty also requires people to provide accurate details of their household contacts and not to obstruct the work of contact tracers. The legal duty will be enforced with fines for those that do not comply.</p> more like this

answer text <p>This Government is grateful for everything Shared Lives carers do to provide care and support to thousands of people. Many have continued to do this during the COVID-19 crisis, but we are aware that others have seen a reduction in the caring hours they provide, which has an impact on their income.</p><p>The Department is currently working with Shared Lives Plus and local government on this issue, to ensure that Shared Lives carers receive appropriate support at a local level.</p><p>In addition, Shared Lives carers may be able to receive support through the welfare system, including benefitting from Government's relaxation of the earnings rules (known as the Minimum Income Floor) in Universal Credit.</p> more like this

answer text <p>As of 30 April 2020, the Department has received notification from Sunderland City Council on 31 March, Derbyshire County Council on 9 April, Birmingham City Council on 14 April, Warwickshire County Council on 16 April, Staffordshire County Council on 17 April, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council on 18 April and Coventry City Council on 28 April. Middlesbrough Council introduced easements on 14 April but has since notified the Department that they ceased to operate under easements on 22 April.</p><p>Local authorities must notify the Department when they decide to operate under easements, but are not required to notify the Department of what level of easements have been applied.</p><p> </p> more like this
