The number of new jobs created will depend on the capacity of the UK supply chain to fulfil the orders that arise. As projects mature funding allocations are made from the pipeline budget against these projects. The Type 32 programme has not yet reached the level of maturity for full budget allocation and concept funding has been spent thus far, estimated at approximately £4 million to date.
