answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/09/2021 answer text <p>In the UK, powered transporters, also known as micromobility devices, are treated like any other motor vehicle under the Road Traffic Act, and this includes electric unicycles.</p><p> </p><p>As part of the Governments Future of Transport regulatory review the Department is running trials of rental e-scooters which will decide whether micromobility devices should be allowed on the road and, if so, what rules should apply to them. We have put in place a national monitoring and evaluation programme and data continues to be collected from the e-scooter trials. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/09/2021 answer text <p>The Government is aware that the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) is currently experiencing a backlog of complaints due to the increased casework from the pandemic and the pressure this has put on the Health Service.</p><p>As an independent organisation, the Ombudsman receives its funding directly through the Parliamentary Vote.
