At the time of writing the current range is estimated to be 0.7-0.9 and is based on latest data available to determine infection and transmission rates. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/06/2020 answer text <p>Information on the number of people aged over 70 with no underlying health conditions who have needed hospital or intensive care unit treatment as a result of COVID-19 is not held in the format requested.</p><p>The Office for National Statistics (ONS) provides monthly data on deaths involving the COVID-19, by age and pre-existing health conditions. These figures include deaths where COVID-19 or suspected COVID-19 was mentioned anywhere on the death certificate. For age group 70 and over, 2,445 deaths that occurred in March and April 2020 had no pre-existing health conditions.
