The Government is proud of our sports teams global appeal and we want this to continue to grow. At the same time our clubs and sporting organisations must ensure that they are responsible when it comes to their relationship with gambling partners both in the UK and abroad.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Government expects operators which are licensed by the Gambling Commission to obey the law in other jurisdictions in which they operate. It is first and foremost for the relevant authorities in other jurisdictions to investigate any alleged breaches of their laws.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Operators licensed by the Gambling Commission are required to report any regulatory investigation or finding into their activities in any other jurisdiction. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2019 answer text <p>On 21 May 2019 the Ministry of Justice announced a public call for evidence to develop our understanding of how the family courts protect children and parents in cases of domestic abuse and other serious offences. Specifically, the call for evidence will focus on the application of Practice Direction 12J, Practice Direction 3AA, The Family Procedure Rules Part 3A, and s.91(14) orders, and will build a more detailed understanding of any harm caused during or following proceedings in the family court where there are allegations of domestic abuse. The written call for evidence was launched on 19 July and will run for 6 weeks.</p><p> </p><p>This call for evidence is coordinated by a panel of experts whose membership includes academics, members of the judiciary, and representatives from third sector bodies which represent or advocate for victims of domestic abuse, all of whom are independent of the Government. The first summit, held in 2017, developed a clear strategy. The second summit, held in April this year, focused on ensuring that the strategy’s objectives were still fit for purpose, and that the right stakeholders were engaged to ensure successful delivery. Where evidence of crimes exist, those responsible should expect to be prosecuted for them.
