We continue to monitor these cases. We consistently and unreservedly condemn torture and cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment and it is a priority for us to challenge it wherever and whenever it occurs. We have explained our position at Ministerial level to the Saudi authorities and will continue to do so. The Government intends to conduct a formal post-implementation review of this legislation with a report due in spring 2020 and evidence of this nature will be looked at to assess the overall impact of legislation.
