answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/04/2019 answer text <p>The Department for Transport adheres to the published cross-Government consultation principles; these principles can be found on GOV.UK: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/consultation-principles-guidance" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/consultation-principles-guidance</a>.</p><p> </p><p>These principles give clear guidance to Government departments when conducting consultations.</p><p> </p><p>The Department seeks to be as flexible as possible in its methods of consulting and engagement to ensure that those who are likely to be affected are reached and their views sought. This is to ensure that those who are likely to be affected are reached and their views sought.</p><p> </p><p>The Department regularly consults on a wide range of issues.
