answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/12/2018 answer text <p>​I have had a number of recent conversations with my Turkish counterparts over the conflict in Syria, as have my ministerial colleagues and the Prime Minister. We have made clear our concerns to Turkey regarding the risks of a military offensive in North East Syria, and stressed that our priority must be defeating Daesh.</p><p>We encourage the continued implementation of the roadmap agreed in Washington between Turkey and the US on Manbij. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/12/2018 answer text <p>​The British Government has been consistent and clear in public and in private that we wish to see a free, fair and pluralistic election in Bangladesh. I have repeatedly encouraged the Government of Bangladesh and opposition parties to engage in an effective dialogue to this end. Through our High Commission in Dhaka we have also been clear that the Election Commission should be allowed to continue its important work without interference. We have encouraged international observation of the election and the EU has sent an Election Expert Mission. Through Department for International Development funding, the UK is also supporting local observation of the general election. The Foreign Secretary raised his concerns regarding the next election in Bangladesh with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina when they met at the UN General Assembly in New York on 24 September. Some progress is being made. As a result of the recent Functional Review of the NATO HQ nations have agreed additional resources to address areas of weakness identified in risk management, internal audit and internal control. But there is currently no consensus among allies on how to proceed with IBAN’s Financial Performance audit recommendations. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of ensuring those responsible for the appalling murder of Jamal Khashoggi are held to account, and that Saudi Arabia takes action to build confidence that such a deplorable incident could not happen again.</p><p>On Yemen the Prime Minister set out the urgent need to bring an end to the conflict and bring relief to millions threatened by famine.
