<p>We do not comment on individual cases. However, Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service takes very seriously its duty of care to ensure all prisoners are able to serve their sentences in a safe environment. Each prisoner is risk assessed on their reception into custody and extra measures are put into place to protect prisoners where there are concerns for their welfare.</p>
