answer text
We are doing our utmost to push for improved humanitarian access in Syria, including through our position in the UN Security Council, and the International Syria Support Group. UN Security Council Resolution 2401, adopted in February 2018, was the latest to underline the obligation on all parties, particularly the Syrian regime, to allow unimpeded humanitarian access. The UK is the second largest bilateral donor to the humanitarian response inside Syria since 2011, and we target aid inside Syria on areas where needs are greatest.
more like this

answer text
We regularly raise the importance of compliance with International Humanitarian Law (IHL) with Saudi Arabia at all levels. Both the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary raised the issue with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia during his visit in March.

We take alleged violations of IHL very seriously. When allegations of IHL breaches have been made against Saudi Arabia, it is important that the Saudis, in the first instance, conduct conclusive investigations. The Saudi-led Coalition Joint Incidents Assessment Team has published 55 reports into particular incidents of concern, with the most recent published on 5 March 2018.
more like this

answer text
The UK is deeply concerned by the high number of deaths and injuries suffered by Palestinians during protests on Gaza’s borders. There is an urgent need to establish the facts of what happened, including why such a volume of live fire was used and what role Hamas played in the events. We are supportive of accountability and transparency, and welcome Israel’s commitment to investigate the conduct of operations. We urge that the findings of this investigation be made public, and that, if wrongdoing is found, those responsible be held to account.
more like this
