answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/11/2017 answer text <p>Domestic Violence Protection Orders (DVPOs), which can prevent the perpetrator from returning to a residence and from having contact with the victim for up to 28 days, were rolled out across England and Wales from March 2014.</p><p> </p><p>Latest Ministry of Justice figures show that between April 2015 and March 2016, 3,951 DVPOs have been issued by Magistrates’ Courts.
