<p>The recent Local Government Association financial peer review, conducted at the request of Northamptonshire County Council, made a number of observations regarding the Council’s budget planning and delivery, and included a series of recommendations. These recommendations were bespoke to the particular circumstances in Northamptonshire, and decisions on how to respond are properly the business of the Council itself.</p>
