answer text <p>To allow us to prioritise core school funding, we have had to make difficult decisions about other budgets. We have, therefore, decided to make savings of £315 million from healthy pupils capital funding.</p><p>We think it is right to maximise the funding that goes directly to all schools, and put decisions about spending in the hands of headteachers who know best how to use their funding to achieve the best outcomes for their pupils. Every pound of England’s share of spending funded by the Soft Drinks Industry Levy will, however, continue to be invested in improving child health, including £100m in 2018-19 on healthy pupils capital.</p> more like this
