answer text <p>My Rt hon Friend the Chancellor announced in November 2016 that the UK Government will support a City Region Deal covering Stirling and Clackmannanshire.</p><p> </p><p>Since then, we have been working with local partners and the Scottish Government to agree the elements of such a deal, most recently to discuss Innovation proposals (9 May), Tourism proposals (17 May), Housing proposals (30 May) and Transport proposals (31 May).</p><p> </p><p>I am confident that these negotiations will lead to a transformative City Region Deal that will give a boost to key sectors of the economy while delivering the necessary support infrastructure.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

answer text <p>This Government is committed to building an Industrial Strategy that works for all of the UK, to drive growth and prosperity across the country.</p><p> </p><p>In the green paper my Rt Hon Friend the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy issued an invitation to Ministers in the Devolved Administrations to take part in Ministerial forums to address productivity barriers and to ensure that economic plans and strategies closely align to benefit citizens in the devolved nations. The first of these forums with the Scottish Government took place on the 11<sup>th</sup> April and has been supported by a series of ongoing discussions at official level.</p><p> </p> more like this
