<p>Policing is a devolved matter, and as such the level of policing required and costs incurred for specific events is a matter for the relevant Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner. Police and Crime Commissioners can make an application for a Special Grant if they face significant and exceptional costs.</p>
