<p>The Offender Rehabilitation Act 2014, which introduced licence and post sentence supervision for those serving short custodial sentences, applies to offences committed on or after 1 February 2015. Final proven reoffending data for those serving sentences imposed after the changes to the supervision of short sentences is not yet available. As with all new legislation, the operation of recall is kept under review.</p><p> </p>
