answer text <p>The independent Senior Salaries Review Body (SSRB), which reports to Cabinet Office Ministers, recommends the pay framework for the Senior Civil Servants within government and the Prime Minister responds via ministerial statement the government’s response. HM Treasury applied pay increases in line with agreed framework within the resources available for the Senior Civil Servants.
