The London building is owned by the Department, and we lease part of a privately owned building in Cardiff at a rental cost of £89,958 per annum. The statutory responsibility for ensuring that risks from asbestos are managed falls to the duty holder and to any employer undertaking work on asbestos-containing materials in those premises.
