answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government is committed to preventing drug use in our communities and supporting people through treatment and recovery and we expect to make an announcement about the Recovery Champion in due course.</p><p>We have established a Drug Strategy Board which includes representation from Government departments and wider partners who are critical to the successful delivery of the Strategy, including those in education, health, criminal justice, housing and employment. The Board is chaired by the Home Secretary and its purpose is to oversee and drive implementation of the commitments in the 2017 Drug Strategy. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/11/2018 answer text <p>Nationally, the Government is already delivering a range of actions through the 2017 Drug Strategy to prevent drug misuse in our communities, support people to recover from dependence on drugs, and support enforcement partners to tackle the illicit drug trade.</p><p>We have established a Home Secretary-chaired Board which includes representation from Government departments and wider partners that are critical to drive implementation of the commitments in the 2017 Drug Strategy.</p><p>However, we recognise there is still further to go to tackle the problems caused by drugs, which is why the Home Secretary recently announced an independent review of drugs. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/10/2018 answer text <p>The UK has some of the toughest powers in the world to deal with sex offenders and we are committed to ensuring that the system is as robust as it can be.</p><p>Registered sex offenders are managed by the police, who are in the best position to identify the risk posed by individuals. There are a range of legislative measures available to the police, including the notification requirements (commonly referred to as ‘the sex offenders register’) and civil orders to manage known sex offenders living in the community.</p><p>Other criminal justice partners and social care agencies contribute to the effective management of sex offenders through Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA). These are statutory arrangements that seek to reduce the serious re-offending behaviour of sexual and violent offenders by the sharing of information.</p><p>We are very clear that the police are best placed to assess the risk of an offender committing another crime, and they will rightly put the public first. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/07/2018 answer text <p>While there has been a dip in the number of female Chief Financial Officers in the FTSE 100 this year, there has been a significant increase in the number for the FTSE 250 since 2015 and therefore the FTSE 350 as a whole. Mid-year figures for the Hampton-Alexander Review released last Wednesday showed that 29% of all FTSE 100 board positions are now held by women, up from 12.5% in 2011.</p><p> </p><p>The Review has launched an online portal for all FTSE 350 companies to submit wider female leadership data. This will track progress against 2017’s extended targets for 33% of women across the Executive Committee and their Direct Reports. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/05/2018 answer text <p>Children using adult dating sites face serious risk from those who are seeking to exploit them, and anyone using these platforms to communicate sexually with someone under the age of 16 is committing a crime.</p><p>As set out in the Internet Safety Strategy, the Government would like to work with adult dating companies to review processes and procedures, and to develop new protective messaging to help their user community prevent young people being put at unnecessary risk, and to ensure they remain in line with the law. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/05/2018 answer text <p>The Government is committed to tackling the harm and exploitation that can be associated with prositution, and believes that people who want to leave prostitution should be given every opportunity to find routes out.</p><p>We have provided £389,000 from the Tampon Tax to organisations which help those who want to leave prostitution and sex work, and £650,000 from the Violence Against Women and Girls Service Transformation Fund to Merseyside PCC, to provide a victim-focused service for sex workers who are victims, or at risk of sexual or domestic violence and abuse, exploitation or human trafficking.</p><p>As set out in our response to the Home Affairs Select Committee, we recognise the need for research into the nature and prevalence of prostitution in England and Wales. The Home Office has provided £150,000 to fund this research, which will be carried out by the University of Bristol, and will help inform future policy.</p><p>It is illegal to keep a brothel in England and Wales. Enforcement action is an operational matter for the police, who are in the best position to identify and respond to issues related to prostitution and sex work in their communities. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/04/2018 answer text <p>The Tackling Child Sexual Exploitation: Progress Report, published in February 2017, announced a £40m package of measures to protect children and young people from sexual abuse, and to crack down on offenders. This includes the establishment of a ground-breaking new Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse with £7.5m of funding, which will work to understand the factors that drive offending, and providing more than £20m over 3 years to help combat the online grooming of children through dedicated officers working undercover online. We have also established a national Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Response Unit to develop local responses, and funded a network of police regional CSE coordinators and analysts, to identify organised child sexual abuse across police force boundaries so that offenders are subject to a robust response wherever they offend.</p><p> </p><p>Since 2012 the Home Office has provided £2.5m of direct funding for Young People’s Advocates in London, Manchester and Birmingham to work directly with gang-affected women and girls, especially if they have been victims, or are at risk, of sexual violence by gangs including county lines. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/12/2017 answer text <p>Melanin is not controlled under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 so no advice is given by the Home Office to people travelling abroad with this substance.</p><p> </p><p>For other medicines, which contain controlled drugs and have been prescribed to them personally, travellers are always advised to check with the relevant foreign embassy or high commission before travel to ascertain the legality of the product in the destination country and any applicable licensing requirements.
