<p>The review of single source procurement legislation identified several changes that could improve how the framework operates. Further work on these proposals has required additional stakeholder engagement on implementing the proposed changes, including cross-Whitehall engagement. This has had to take its place alongside other Government priorities. The Secretary of State for Defence will make an announcement on the outcome of the review when this engagement has been completed.</p>
