The information requested is not available. While eligibility for Housing Benefit is assessed when a claim is made or in the event of a change of circumstances, information relating to whether or not a claimant is in prison is not retained in the administrative data for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit that is supplied to DWP for analysis.
