answer text <p> </p><p>The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has had extensive liaison with local authorities about the abolition of the tax disc and provided a broad range of information to help inform their customers.</p><p> </p><p>From 1 October the DVLA online vehicle enquiry system will include the taxation class of the vehicle.</p><p> </p><p>A specific email address has been established to deal with any queries from local authorities and a workshop has been organised for 2 July.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Department will shortly start seeking views and evidence from interested organisations, individuals and the devolved administrations on the best way to implement the new rules in Directive 2014/45/EU relating to historic vehicles. We will seek to minimise burdens while supporting road safety. Any changes need not come in to force in domestic legislation until May 2018.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The competition for the trial on flexible and part-time ticketing is currently scheduled to commence later in 2014. All train operators that are signatories to the South East Flexible Ticketing scheme, including South West Trains, who operate the Waterloo to Weymouth line, will be invited to take part in the competition. We expect to announce a winning bidder in sufficient time to commence the trial in January 2015. The trial is expected to last for a year.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this
