Friend the Secretary of State confirmed to Parliament that the Government has entered negotiations with Hitachi in relation to Horizon’s proposed Wylfa Newydd project, based on Anglesey in North Wales. Negotiations are currently ongoing, and no decision has yet been taken to proceed. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/07/2018 answer text <p>We are moving in step with international progress on standards and technology on hydrogen as a transport fuel, ensuring that the UK retains its position at the forefront of the adoption of zero emission vehicle technologies. The Government’s approach is to align deployment of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles with the appropriate infrastructure investments to ensure refuelling stations have a significant level of usage. Healthy levels of station utilisation should create levels of revenue that will encourage private sector investment in expanding the network. Government is providing funding to grow the number of hydrogen refuelling stations from the current twelve and to increase the uptake of fuel cell electric vehicles. The £23m Hydrogen for Transport Programme is providing support out until 2020. While wholesale gas prices rose initially they have since fallen. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/12/2017 answer text <p>The UK Oil and gas industry remains a priority for the whole Government.</p><p>In the recent Autumn Budget the Government announced the introduction of a Transferable Tax History mechanism for UK Continental Shelf oil and gas producers for deals that complete on or after 1 November 2018. This initiative is a world first and should encourage new entrants and unlock fresh investment for a basin that still holds up to 20 billion barrels of oil. In addition, the Chancellor during his recent visit to Aberdeen announced additional funding of £5 million to help stimulate exploration activity in the UK Continental Shelf. This is on top of the £2.3 billion of Government support for the industry over recent years through initiatives likes the £250m Aberdeen City Deal Package and reducing tax that the industry pays in recognition of the challenging conditions which face the sector and to encourage investment.</p><p>Ministers have regular discussions with the industry regulators, including the Oil and Gas Authority who is charged with maximising economic recovery of oil and gas reserves in the UK Continental Shelf.</p> answering member constituency Watford answering member printed Richard Harrington question first answered 05/12/2017 15:06:21 answering member 4068 label Biography information for Lord Harrington of Watford

The estimated number of women in Great Britain born in the 1950s affected by the changes to State Pension age is 3.48 million.</p><p> </p><p>The latest figures on pension wealth, from the Wealth and Assets Survey, show that, in the period July 2012 to June 2014, 66 per cent of women aged 55-64 in Great Britain had pensions wealth.
