<p>The following table gives the number of mentor and business starts for New Enterprise
Allowance from April 2011 to June 2015. It is possible that a person may start on
the scheme more than once. New Enterprise Allowance is only available in England,
Scotland and Wales, therefore figures have been provided for Great Britain, not the
United Kingdom. These figures are taken from the published Official Statistics which

Some claimants on Universal Credit (UC) are not captured in the data presented, there
may be a small undercount of starts in areas where UC has been introduced.</p>
