Ministers from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy frequently engage with UK steel producers, trade bodies and trade unions on the future of steel production in the UK. Such meetings are already being scheduled at both Secretary of State and Minister of State levels, within the first two weeks of being appointed to these roles.
