answer text <p>The Department is committed to maintaining a proportionate approach to regulation to enable business growth while maintaining public protections. This will be monitored through the Business Impact Target that the Government is required to set under the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015.</p><p> </p><p>All new policies, programmes and projects are subject to a proportionate assessment of their impact. Where there is a statutory review clause a report of the findings of the review will be published on the Gov.uk website.</p><p> </p><p>The Department always welcomes practical suggestions on how to improve or reduce the burden of regulation.</p> more like this
