is line with HM Treasury guidance which allows for certain transactions to be redacted.</p><p>
</p><p>The Department is committed to the Government’s transparency agenda to make
government more open and to strengthen public accountability and with this in mind,
the Department reports on transactions that are over £500, a threshold that is lower
than the Cabinet Office recommended £25,000 and this includes transactions made through
the use of the Electronic Purchasing Card Solutions (EPCS).</p><p> </p><p>The Department
has clear guidance in place to manage the use of an EPCS card which may only be issued
to staff where there is deemed to be a business need.</p>
