answer text <p>The Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar requirement is being taken forward through the E-Scan programme, which was endorsed as part of the Strategic Defence and Security Review 2015. Under current planning, this programme will provide Typhoon Tranche 3 aircraft with a world-leading electronic radar capability, including much greater range detection of air-to-air adversaries, and improved electronic attack, jamming and deception capabilities.</p> more like this
