We regularly make our views well known, including through the UN Universal Periodic Review process and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s annual Human Rights and Democracy Report. Our Ambassador to Israel raised the issue with the Israeli Defence Minister on 27 August and more recently with officials from the Israeli National Security Council on 9 September. The Prime Minister, my right hon. Friend the Member for Witney (David Cameron), and the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon.
