answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/01/2019 answer text <p>UK Ministers meet regularly with Ministers from the Scottish and Welsh governments, through JMC (EU Negotiations), JMC (Europe), the Ministerial Forum (EU Negotiations), as well as bilateral and trilateral meetings. In the absence of an Executive, we also engage at an official level with the Northern Ireland Civil Service.</p><p>Yesterday the Prime Minister met with the First Ministers of Scotland and Wales as part of ongoing discussions to find a consensus around the terms of the UK’s exit from the EU. Both Ministers have been invited by the Prime Minister to attend all relevant meetings of a new Cabinet sub-committee that will bring together work on preparations for the UK’s exit from the EU, spanning both deal and no deal outcomes.</p><p>This builds on the increasing engagement in recent months between the UK government and the devolved administrations and our commitment to give them an enhanced role in the next phase of the Brexit process, respecting their vital interests in these negotiations.</p><p>UK Ministers will attend the next meeting of the Ministerial Forum (EU Negotiations) in Scotland next week.</p><p> </p> answering member constituency Worcester answering member printed Mr Robin Walker question first answered 24/01/2019 16:47:08 answering member 4091 label Biography information for Mr Robin Walker

The partnership we are seeking with the EU will include an ambitious customs arrangement between the UK and EU, and the trading relationship on goods will be as ambitious as possible. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2019 answer text <p>Each Member State implements the permanent residence requirements of the Free Movement Directive (2004/38/EC) differently and information is not held centrally on the fees charged for equivalent documents. For example, the Netherlands currently charge €51 for permanent residency, and this charge will remain the same for obtaining a status under the Withdrawal Agreement.</p><p>Country-specific information, where available, is detailed in the ‘Living in Guides’ which you can find at:</p><p><a href="https://bit.ly/2PJAHjx" target="_blank">https://bit.ly/2PJAHjx</a></p><p>The Free Movement Directive sets out the registration requirements and the rules of charging for permanent residence that Member States must follow in their processes.</p><p>Under this Directive, a Member State can require a person living there for more than three months to register within a time frame, which should be no less than three months from the date of their arrival. The Directive also states that a citizen’s possession of such registration documents cannot be a precondition for exercising their Treaty rights. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/01/2019 answer text <p>The UK Government fully understands the importance of economic and personal links between St Martin/Sint Maarten and Anguilla and the Government is working closely with the Government of Anguilla on all aspects of Brexit. We are working with the Government of Anguilla on all related issues including around the flow of goods, services and people between St Martin/Sint Maarten and Anguilla.</p><p>The movement of both British citizens and British Overseas Territories citizens between Anguilla and St Martin should continue under the existing bilateral arrangements which provide visa-free access for short stays up to 90 days and do not depend on the UK’s EU membership.
