answer text <p>Government Departments have worked with the Welsh Language Commissioner to develop their schemes.</p><p>Under the principle of equality, departments will write in Welsh to an individual, group or organisation which they know works mainly in Welsh, or which has already notified us that it prefers to receive letters in Welsh. It will also respond in Welsh following a face-to face meeting or telephone call conducted in Welsh where follow-up correspondence is required (unless they have indicated they would prefer a response in English).</p> more like this

This will be spent on work to ensure departments have access to the specialist resource needed to deliver a successful EU Exit. answer text <p>The ethnicity data published on the <em>Ethnicity Facts and Figures</em> website includes data from the Census, published official statistics, numerous Government surveys and Departments’ own administrative records.</p><p>Currently, the website has 48 measures (web pages) that present data using the detailed classification of ethnicity developed for the 2011 Census, which includes Irish Traveller and Gypsy/Roma Travellers (GRT). However, figures for the GRT ethnic group in some of these measures were suppressed for reasons of confidentiality protection and/or because the numbers were too small to enable robust estimates to be produced.</p><p>We continue to work with the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and Government Departments to identify methods to improve ethnicity data collection, consistency and how best to address data gaps for ethnic groups including GRT.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF<em>) </em>staff can access thematic training and analysis from across government on security and justice. The Stabilisation Unit (SU) designed a new Security and Justice training course in 2017, which was delivered both in the UK and overseas. The SU is producing a new Stabilisation Handbook, which will have chapters covering thematic issues including security and justice. It will contain advice and guidance on how to deliver programmes effectively and share best practice on operating and delivering in conflict and stabilisation contexts. The Handbook will be published later this year and will be used by the CSSF staff and implementing partners.</p> more like this

They articulate how joint operators need to be told what to do to ensure safe, effective and coherent actions in operations.
