So far it has focused on research and evidence on the menopause.</p><p> </p><p>In July 2021, DWP asked members of the 50 PLUS Roundtable on older workers to look at the important issue of menopause and employment given the impact menopause can have on women’s working lives, particularly in the latter stages of their careers. An independent ‘menopause and the workplace’ report was published later in 2021 and the Government’s response was outlined in July 2022.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has again committed, in its response to recommendation 6 of the Women and Equalities Select Committees report: Menopause and the Workplace, they will appoint a DWP Menopause Employment Champion. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/01/2023 answer text <p>The Household Support Fund is a discretionary scheme run by Upper Tier Local Authorities in England to provide support to the most vulnerable households. The Household Support Fund is primarily used to meet immediate need including energy and water bills, food, as well as wider related essentials. It is for Local Authorities to decide how they distribute their funding within the parameters of the scheme’s guidance and grant determination.</p><p> </p><p>The Government collects high level data on the broad categories of the support provided by the scheme in order to ensure that funded activities are within the scope of guidance. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/01/2023 answer text <p>The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR) are made under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and apply to all sectors and workplaces in Great Britain.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>RIDDOR requires responsible persons (usually employers in relation to employees) to report</p><p>work-related fatalities and certain injuries, dangerous occurrences, and cases of disease. Reporting requirements are based on the outcome of incidents.</p><p> </p><p>RIDDOR does not require the reporting of immediate or underlying causes, such as whether the use of drugs or alcohol were a contributing factor in a particular incident. Causation of an incident will not necessarily be apparent during the statutory timeframe in which a dutyholder is required to report; that information generally only becomes evident during an investigation, either by the dutyholder or the regulator.</p><p> </p><p>If such information were required as part of the reporting process, it would be difficult to reliably establish direct causation on a case-by-case basis. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/01/2023 answer text <p>In April 2020 the Government boosted investment in the Local Housing Allowance by nearly £1 billion and rates have been maintained at their increased level in 2021/22 and 2022/23.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The latest estimated cost of increasing LHA rates to the 30<sup>th</sup> percentile, made in preparations for Autumn Budget, was up to £700m for the financial year 2023-24. This is based on the new LHA rates coming into effect in April 2023. The estimate for the policy covered Great Britain as the LHA applies across Great Britain.</p><p> </p><p>This estimate was produced before the Autumn Statement was finalised and therefore is not on the same basis as the policy costings published alongside the statement.
