<p>The government believes firmly in the value and importance of diversity in the charity sector, including on boards and amongst trusts and foundations. I am confident that this view is shared by the sector, and that trusts and foundations will be looking at the findings of this report to identify what further action is needed and where lessons can be learned.</p>
