We have undertaken significant outreach within the Government and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sectors, and the UK Devolved Administrations, providing mitigating advice to bolster the UK’s cyber preparedness.</p><p>The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster recently wrote to Cabinet colleagues to seek assurances that their departments and sectors are implementing the necessary resilience measures.</p><p>All organisations should follow the <a href="https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/guidance/actions-to-take-when-the-cyber-threat-is-heightened" target="_blank">NCSC’s guidance</a> on actions to take when the cyber threat is heightened. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/06/2022 answer text <p>Her Majesty’s Government is committed to maintaining high standards of conduct and probity, whilst making improvements where necessary to policies and processes which help support this.</p><p>There are a range of mechanisms in place to maintain and drive up standards, including Codes of Conduct (such as the Ministerial Code, Civil Service Code, Special Adviser Code), policies and guidance (such as Managing Public Money), and bodies and offices charged with overseeing aspects of government activity (for example the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments and the Civil Service Commission). The Committee on Standards in Public Life also issues regular reports with ideas and recommendations for the Government and other public bodies to consider.</p><p>I also refer the Hon. Sir Brian has made clear his intention to complete his work as quickly as reasonable thoroughness allows.</p><p>As the responsible Minister for the Infected Blood Inquiry, I announced on 7 June the publication of the study by Sir Robert Francis QC into a framework of compensation for people directly affected by infected blood (<a href="https://questions-statements.parliament.uk/written-statements/detail/2022-06-07/hcws79" target="_blank">HCWS79</a>).
