The scheme enables organisations themselves to determine which technologies are in scope of their Cyber Essentials assessment: this would not normally include any third party organisations.</p><p> </p><p>The Government recognises the importance of third party risk management and will continue to consider how the Cyber Essentials standard can be improved to better account for cloud based services. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/03/2017 answer text <p>Under the Communications Act 2003, as reflected in Ofcom’s Broadcasting Code, all television and radio broadcasters licensed by Ofcom must ensure that their news output is duly accurate and duly impartial. Ofcom robustly enforces these obligations.</p><p> </p><p>In 2016 it recorded three breaches of Rule 5.1, which requires due accuracy and due impartiality of news output. One breach was in relation to a radio service and two involved television services. Organisations that process personal data in the UK must comply Data Protection Act’s (DPA) eight data protection principles. These include requiring personal data to be processed fairly and lawfully; to be accurate and up-to-date; not to be kept for longer than is necessary; and to be processed in accordance with the rights of the data subjects under the DPA. These services are required to comply with the rules in Ofcom’s codes. As set out in Ofcom's last Annual Report, they assessed 23,420 broadcasting complaints between 1 April 2015 and 31 March 2016. During this period, they conducted 205 investigations and recorded 127 breaches of the Broadcasting Code (or other Ofcom codes).</p><p> </p><p>Over the past ten years, Ofcom has recorded over 2,500 breaches of the Broadcasting Code. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/03/2017 answer text <p>The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport wrote to the Welsh Minister for Lifelong Learning and Welsh Language in October 2016 to invite Welsh Government representation on the selection panel for the BBC Board member for Wales, and inviting comments on the draft role specification.</p><p> </p><p>The Welsh Government’s representative sat on both sift and interview panels for the role and agreed on the list of appointable candidates.</p><p> </p><p>The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport wrote to the Welsh Minister for Lifelong Learning and Welsh Language on 27th February 2017 seeking agreement with the Secretary of State’s preferred candidate, in accordance with Clause 23 (9) of the BBC Charter.</p><p> </p><p>On 28th February 2017, the Welsh Minister for Lifelong Learning and Welsh Language wrote to the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport stating that the Welsh Government was unable to endorse the preferred candidate, despite the Welsh Government representatives having deemed the candidate as appointable at interview.
