Since the 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review we have strengthened existing Defence Sections, established 12 new Defence Sections and created two new deployed regional British Defence Staffs. They are HMS MERSEY, HMS TYNE, HMS SEVERN and HMS FORTH.
