The applications between July and September for Regular were 17,620 and for Reserve 10,080.</p><p> </p><p>Between April and June 2017 there were 1,360 Regular and 740 Reserve enlistments. The enlistments between July and September for Regular were 1,910 and Reserve 760.</p><p> </p><p>The application and enlistment data is not directly comparable. It is our duty to remember and honour the fallen.</p><p>The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has contributed significantly to the Government's four-year First World War commemorative programme, both at home and abroad, and continues to do so; the programme is led by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
