answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/06/2018 answer text <p>Nigeria is a key partner for the UK and we are fully committed to helping the Nigerian Government in its fight against terrorism. However, the UK's position on human rights is clear: they are universal and must apply equally to all. Any member of the Nigerian security forces found to have been involved in human rights violations must be held accountable.</p><p> </p><p>The National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security sets out how the UK Government will integrate a gender perspective into its work to build security and stability overseas and protect the human rights of women and girls. The UK military training and assistance to the Armed Forces of Nigeria has consistently emphasised the importance of adherence to internationally recognised Rules of Engagement, as well as the importance of International Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/06/2018 answer text <p>The Royal Navy (RN) enjoys a good relationship with the Israeli Navy and conducts routine Defence Engagement activities, including Staff Talks and capability discussions designed to further our mutual understanding and align areas for cooperation.</p><p>RN ships have conducted port visits to Israel on five occasions since 1 January 2016, lasting between two and four days. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/06/2018 answer text <p>The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is working closely with the US Department of Defense, who own and operate the Ascension Island runway, to ensure continued access to the Islands during the runway resurfacing programme. The MOD will ensure during this time that a mechanism is in place for UK Defence personnel to access the island in support of MOD business.</p><p>Civilian access is overseen by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Ascension Island Government.
