answer text <p>The latest published figures for the Trained Strength for the Royal Navy Submarine Service show that there were 830 Officers and 3,150 Ratings. Of these there are 430 Officers and 2,100 Ratings assigned to engineering branches within the Submarine Service. The number of engineers available at any one time will be determined by such factors as leave and training requirements.</p><p>All totals are rounded in accordance with the Defence Statistics rounding policy; therefore totals may not equal the sum of their parts. All numbers are rounded to the nearest 10 with numbers ending in five rounded to the nearest multiple of 20 to avoid bias.</p> more like this

Post-strike the UK uses a range of methods, which may include the use of full motion video, to judge the effectiveness of its airstrikes and to determine whether we have caused civilian casualties. The Ministry of Defence is committed to investigating any credible reports that UK airstrikes have been responsible for civilian casualties.</p> more like this
