answer text <p>UK Export Finance (UKEF) publishes details of the companies it has supported on an annual basis in its Annual Report and Accounts which is presented to Parliament and on its website. These details include the type of project or export supported. answer text <p>Renewable energy is a priority sector for UK Export Finance (UKEF), which has recruited four new employees who are specialists in renewable energy projects. Three work in underwriting and one in its Environment and Social Management team. One of the four branches in the Civil, Infrastructure and Energy (CIE) division is now dedicated to low carbon and renewable energy. Before joining UKEF the Head of CIE, one of the three Senior Civil Servants within UKEF’s Business Group, has led an award-winning renewable financing team at a major UK bank, and been Head of Finance for a low carbon energy consortium.</p> more like this

Its reviews are carried out by its specialist Environmental and Social Management team and are benchmarked against international standards. answer text <p>The UK has strong trade relations across North Africa. DIT teams support British companies exporting and investing throughout the region, including through trade missions in both directions. The Prime Minister’s Trade Envoys to Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Egypt (with a watching brief on Libya) support this work, including through trade discussions with Government Ministers in these countries. The Lord Mayor of the City of London also visited the region this year. UK Export Finance (UKEF) has significant capacity to support UK exports to North Africa. UKEF recently increased its capacity for Egypt and will be reviewing its limits for other North African countries.</p> more like this

We work to improve the business environment and increase business confidence, to promote long-term growth and a diversified economy. The Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Nigeria visits regularly as part of HMG's coordinated activity to promote our trade and prosperity priorities. My Rt hon Friends the Foreign Secretary and Secretary of State for International Development emphasised the UK’s commitment to strengthen bilateral trade ties further during their recent visit to Nigeria.
