answer text <p>The Insolvency Service regularly assesses how changes in debt levels impact on the number of personal insolvencies. It considers a wide range of economic indicators to determine which has the greater impact on levels of personal insolvency. Over the last five years, the analysis has shown that total household debt is a better indicator of personal insolvency movements than levels of credit card debt.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The National Minimum Wage (Offshore Employment) Order 1999 applies the 1998 National Minimum Wage Act to offshore employment in the territorial waters of the UK and the UK sector of the continental shelf.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is clear that everyone who is entitled to the National Minimum Wage (NMW) or National Living Wage (NLW) should receive it. HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) investigates every complaint it receives and workers can call the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (Acas) Helpline (on 0300 123 1100) for information and guidance about the NMW, or visit their website (<a href="http://www.acas.org.uk/" target="_blank">www.acas.org.uk</a>).</p><p> </p><p>Furthermore, the Government has established the Legal Working Group on Seafarers to improve the guidance on these matters, and to ensure seafarers are aware of their rights.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p><del class="ministerial">Neither my Rt hon Friend the Secretary of State, nor I have had discussions with charities about the impact of these rules on their work.</del></p><p> </p><p><del class="ministerial">The State aid rules apply to funding given to charities, as they would for any other body, where they are involved in economic activities. The rules are blind as to legal form; rather they are concerned with whether an entity is undertaking economic activities. answer text <p>The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) was formed in 2016.</p><p>Internal efforts on improving social mobility since the creation of the Department have included various talent schemes such as our Summer Diversity Internship Programme. We are fully committed to working with the Cabinet Office on addressing social mobility issues through the Civil Service Diversity and Inclusion Strategy which was launched in October; this will include creating a standard measurement for social mobility which all Departments will be able to use in their activity on this area.</p><p>The assessment of wider societal impacts is an integral part of policy development in the Department, including applying the family test and compliance with the Public Sector Equality Duty as specified in the Equality Act 2010<em>.</em></p> more like this

answer text <p>The Department does not routinely collect comprehensive information about how many workers opt-out of the 48 hour maximum working week.</p><p> </p><p>However, the Department conducted a review of the impact of the Working Time Regulations in 2014. answer text <p>The Money Laundering Regulations 2017 established specific obligations upon trust or company service providers, requiring such entities carrying on business in the UK to be subject to a fitness and propriety test, and to register with either Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs or the Financial Conduct Authority. The Government will also shortly formally establish the Office for Professional Body Anti-Money Laundering Supervision within the Financial Conduct Authority.
