The Supreme Court judgment in <em>R v Jogee</em> amended the law in this area, and did not call for Parliament to legislate.</p><p> </p><p>It is for our independent courts to interpret the law, as laid down by the Supreme Court. I would like to express my deepest sympathies to those affected by this terrorist crime.</p><p>All individual case funding decisions are taken by the Legal Aid Agency. Ministers are prevented by law from intervening in this process.
