answer text <p>From the very beginning of this process, the Prime Minister has been clear that safeguarding the rights of EU citizens living in the UK and UK nationals living in the EU was her first priority for the negotiations.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The UK Government and the European Commission have stated that providing certainty for citizens is a priority - that is why we have worked hard through negotiations to agree a final deal that works for all.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>This is a commitment we have delivered. The agreement reached and set out in the Withdrawal Agreement text provides certainty on the rights of UK nationals currently living in the EU.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>There is a dedicated page on the GOV.UK website, <em>UK nationals in the EU: Essential Information</em>. This page is regularly updated and provides the latest information and guidance on how the UK’s exit from the EU might impact on UK nationals living in the EU. The page also includes detail of the citizens’ rights agreement, which will provide UK nationals with more certainty about residence, healthcare, pensions and other benefits.<br><br></p><p>The Government is also using other communication channels to engage with UK nationals in the EU, reaching out to UK nationals at meetings, events and online. Ministers from the Department for Exiting the European Union have met delegates from groups representing UK nationals in the EU, to hear their concerns. Embassies and Ambassadors have also engaged extensively with their communities in country.</p><p> </p> more like this
